Yes, this one’s at Ernie’s again. They have a ready-prepared beehoon goreng that’s going really cheap. Together with a teh tarik, it’s only $3.50! And we’re talking about Orchard area.

The upside is that it’s even cheaper than “economical beehoon”. The downside? There’s nothing much in it. Taste wise, not too bad. Mix it with a good helping of the chilli sauce provided, squeeze the lime and you would have mee siam without the gravy (and egg). For $3.50 (with the tea), it’s a steal. Can’t go wrong with this one.
