Asam Prawns

This is the first time I’m making this dish. I’m using frozen prawns as usual. First, defrost and devein.

The set the prawns aside.

The next step is to fry onions, lady’s fingers and asam paste together until they’re fragrant.

Add water and cherry tomatoes.

Cook until all the vegetables are nice and soft.

The star of the dish, the prawns, are put in last. They don’t take too long to cook. I boil for 3 minutes.

How did it turn out? Yummier than expected.
