Here’s another very easy and very yummy dish you can make in under 10 minutes. The ingredients are cheap and easy to get.
Almost everything is here. Carrot, an onion, fish dumpling, egg.
Heat up some oil, fry the carrots and onion first. Then crack the egg, stir in and add fish dumplings. At this point, season with a pinch of salt and lots of pepper.
In goes the udon. Stir fry at high heat, add cut chillis and a teaspoon of my “secret sauce”, a bit of water, stir fry a bit more and we’re done.
This is what the finished product looks like and let me tell you, it tastes and smells as good as it looks. Since I’m in a generous mood today, let me share my little secret with you guys.
It’s that simple and commonplace. Try it yourself. From last night’s National Day Rally, we can figure out that Singapore’s target population of 6.9 million is probably going to be an underestimation. Brace yourself for crowded hawker centres and learn to cook some cheaper, better, faster dishes.
