Puffer Fish, Anyone?

The majority of puffer fish species are toxic and some are among the most poisonous vertebrates in the world. In certain species, the internal organs, such as liver, and sometimes their skin, contain tetrodotoxin and are highly toxic to most animals when eaten. There is no antidote for puffer fish toxicity. Nevertheless, the meat of some species is considered a delicacy in Japan and a flirt with death.

Personally, I have not tasted this fish before. Friends who have told me that there’s nothing special about it. I guess you only get bragging rights and Instagram content. Yay! I’ve done puffer fish.
