Another pandemic recommendation from Chua Lam. Tea is my favourite beverage. I know more Chinese tea types than “Western” tea types. The ambience at the teashop is not something that you can find in places like Singapore anymore. One reason is that very few Singaporeans can appreciate tea in its pristine and original form.

Teas can come in a wide range of prices. Not being able to afford the high end stuff, I normally settle for something mid-range. Mr Chua said that old teashops like this one price their products according to value. They will not cheat you with a lousy product and sell it for a fortune. I believe him. If you know a place like that in Singapore, do let me know.
